Modular Building Play Centre, Withernsea
Apr 2010

The big idea?
One of the key aims was to create a modular building where children and young people had a space to use their imagination to create their own environment. The wave roof design of this modular building was developed in partnership with the projects architects keeping contractors and the client informed about the development of this modular building.
Why a modular building?
The flexibility of the design and construction of modular buildings made this form of construction an ideal solution for this unique project, elements from previous modular building projects were used as inspiration and the final result was a huge success for all parties especially the children.
Why Integra Buildings?
Previous modular buildings that have been erected for nurseries similar to the Withernsea Play Activity Centre enabled us to tender for the work. Our competitive pricing and commitment to client satisfaction enabled Integra Building to become East Riding of Yorkshire council's preferred contractor.
Integra supplied and erected the modular building c/w all aluminium powder coated windows and powder coated doors, including a roof light with a sweeping Trespa roof, fascia, soffits, cedar external walls with a separate external area of render. Integra completed all the internal works of the modular building including floors, walls and suspended ceilings, gas fired wet heating system, fire/intruder alarm, all plumbing and hot water boiler the majority of which was built within our modular building factory.
