Four Storey Modular Building, Canterbury College
This four story modular building was another modular building project for Canterbury College, a key building to secure between £40-50million redevelopment.
Why a modular building?
This project had very tight time scales and was required before the 2004 college term started. The four story modular building needed to be situated on a steel podium which had to link in at all four floors of the modular building.
Modular building techniques were preferred over traditional methods due to the very tight timescales of this project and the high importance of delivering a modular building that was fit for purpose before the start of the new summer term.
Why Integra Buildings?
Integra Buildings had worked with Canterbury College the previous year delivering four portable and modular buildings within a very tight time frame once again. As each of these projects were delivered within specified timeframes and within the agreed budget Integra Buildings was the natural choice for this addition modular building.
