A hole in one...our first ever charity golf day was tee-riffic!
We recently hosted our very first charity golf day as we teed off with a host of our partners, suppliers and friends.
Held at Burstwick Country Golf on a windy but warm day, the event was packed full of excitement and drama from the very first hole, with prizes available for the first, second and third-placed golfers.
After 18 holes of (mostly!) high-quality golf, the group enjoyed a two-course lunch at the Nineteen Restaurant, located at the golf club.
Our chosen charity for the event was WISHH, an independent charity which raises money to support facilities, equipment and services at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital in East Yorkshire.
We’re thrilled to announce our charity golf day raised £4,020 for WISHH, benefitting patients, their families and NHS staff across the region.
Paul Tansey, our SHEQ Director and Co-Owner, said: “Our first ever charity golf day proved a huge hit. It was great for our own team to spend a day with many of our partners and suppliers, all raising money for a hugely worthwhile cause.
“Thanks to all who joined us on the day and supported the event. Without your continued support, so much of what we do at Integra wouldn’t be possible.”
Congratulations must go to Young Site Services, Dixon Group and Nick Boyd’s team, who claimed the top three prizes respectively on the day. Big thank you to Andy at Young Site Services and Kirk at Dixon Group who both donated their cash prize money back to charity. Class acts!
Prizes also went to Paul Bolan and Kirk Dixon for winning the “closest to the pin” competitions which took place throughout the day.
A special thank you goes to our very own Tom Oliver for the organising and smooth running of the whole event, and to Burstwick Country Golf for its outstanding service and hospitality. Finally, to all of our partners and suppliers who sponsored the event.
