Moor House School & College

Moor House School & College

Moor House School & College Moor House is one of very few Schools in the country specialising in supporting children and young people with DLD. DLD is associated with an elevated risk of social, emotional and mental health concerns. Additional facilities were needed at the School to cater for growth in numbers and outdated buildings beyond their useful life need to be replaced so they can continue to offer excellent, fit for purpose facilities to enhance students learning and life experience while they are at Moor House.

This was a challenging project for Integra in having to work around an active School for special needs children, and the works were carried out in a manner which did not disrupt the School’s operation. In fact during the construction period, a visit was made by Ofsted who commented how well the site was being kept to prevent access by the students. The standard of finish was excellent and now the staff and students have moved in they are all delighted with the new building. Overall the School was so pleased with Integra Buildings that they are currently negotiating a further project with them which the School intends carrying out in the near future.
