Apprentice Story – Maddie

Maddie joined Integra in September 2022, following in the footsteps of her older brother Tyler who joined the company as an Apprentice Welder. Both Maddie and Tyler are from the local village of Paull.

Maddie started her journey with a Level Two Apprenticeship in
Business Administration. In 2023 Maddie was awarded Apprentice of
the Year in the Management & Customer Service Category at the
East Riding College annual apprenticeship awards.

Maddie received a full-time permanent contract following her
qualification and we’ve supported her through further learning, in
2024 she was awarded Distinction in Level Three Diploma in Business
Administration.

Maddie is now exploring her career opportunities with us including
getting involved with Sales, Marketing and is a keen member of the
CSR committee and support to several other departments.
Integra have an excellent record of training, developing and
retaining apprentices, including Apprentice of the Year 2021 Karl
Johnson our Design Technician Apprentice who remain with us.

Dozens of welding and joiner apprentices, including our Managing Director, who joined the company 20 years ago as a graduate apprentice and worked his way up to the top!
