Newquay Town Council commenced works on the complete regeneration of one of its kay open spaces known as ‘The Killacourt’ forming
part of this project was the installation of a Café Building and 12 Retail Units to take advantage of the incredible views on this elevated section with an outlook to the coast.

Bespoke Specification:

• 3 Bay Cafe Building in an L-shape measuring 14.8m x 6.2m overall

• 12m2 Kitchen area with servery window for coffees/ ice-creams

• 20m2 Open plan dining/ seating area and Disabled WC

• 12no Retail Units each measuring 6m x 2.8m

• All buildings with a Cedar Clad finish to suit the costal environment, also powder coated aluminium doors and windows

• Client specified a roof finish suitable to retro fit a sedem/ grass roof at a later stage to further suit the environment

The Café building measuring 14.8m x 6.2m (irregular shape) was manufactured in 3 bays and included a catering kitchen, open plan seating area with bi-fold doors and WC facilities. The Retail Units individually measured 6m x 2.8m with double doors to the front aspect, display floor to ceiling window to the side elevation and a small store area to the back of the otherwise open plan area.
