Challenge Anneka!

We first meet Anneka Rice in 2013 when we constructed the Vinery Centre, a Community Building for Leeds Mencap. Anneka had worked on the original project in the early 90’s and she returned to check out the new building.

Little Sprouts Community Project

In 2023 we received a call from her team, asking if we could help Little Sprouts a community project charity in desperate need of a building to house their foodbank. We jumped at the chance to help, donating an ex-hire classroom building and a team to help deliver, install and refurbish the building along with 100’s of volunteers donating their time and materials to the worthy cause.

enough for such a generous gift. At the moment we run our community shops from various locations, but don't have an actual base. Although we do our best to make the experience of people using the shop a good one, the fact that we are in a cramped, shared community centre working out crates etc... hasn't been great"
