Kier Southern – Springhead School

Springhead School is a project we have been involved with from the early on set and completed October 2020. Our scope of works include
the design, manufacture, supply and install a modular 2FE Primary School to the clients specification. This is one of several similar projects we have worked on in Kent this year and builds on well established relationship with Kier and the Council.

Bespoke Specification:

• 68m x 40m overall L-Shape Building manufactured in 78 bays over two storeys

• External finish of brick tiles, cladding panels & Norclad timber cladding

• Interior finish of plaster skim walls, bio clad to the Kitchen & Hygiene Rooms and a range of vinyl & carpet flooring

... Just wow! It’s not a conventional looking building, it wasn’t built in the conventional way, but wow. From visiting Hull in February and seeing the reception modules having their plumbing, plastering and electrics installed in portacabins to seeing them in the building has been quite astounding and a pleasure to watch them work from start to finish. #makeitmodular!
